EastEnders spoilers: Tiffany Butcher stands up to drug dealer Evie Steele putting Bernadette Taylor in dangerFebruary 12, 2019
TIFFANY Butcher will put herself and best friend Bernadette Taylor in danger in EastEnders next week when she finally stands up to drug dealing bully, Evie Steele.
When Tiffany – played by Maisie Smith in the BBC soap – gets a frosty reception from Evie’s gang, Bernadette gets caught in the crossfire, but Tiffany is quick to stand up for her.
Bernadette pleads with her friend to talk and the friends finally make amends.
As they chat Tiffany is surprised to learn that Bernie has been online dating and gives her the confidence to follow up a potential date.
Later poor Bernie – Clair Norris – has a disaster as she gets ready for her date but Tiff is quick to step in and help her.
But when Bernie arrives Tiffany is confused and thinks Square newcomer Habiba Ahmed is her date.
Habiba brushes off the confusion but the incident leaves Bernie mortified.
Meanwhile Tiffany spots Evie and finally stands up to her to support Bernadette.
But things quickly go from bad to worse for Bernadette. Has Tiffany inadvertently put her in danger from Evie?
Evie has shown her dark side several times since arriving on the Square last year.
Last months fans were sickened to watch the character torture a drug addict who owed her money.
Viewers branded the character – who’s played by Sophia Capasso – evil as she attacked the addict in the middle of the day.
The man didn’t have enough money to pay his debts to Evie and she wasn’t best pleased.
When she came across him in the Square later she reacted with fury.
Calling him up the stairs from where he had been sleeping, the homeless man struggled his way up.
“I’ll see you right on Friday,” he promised her desperate.
Pushing the sickly man down a flight of concrete steps, she kept him in a dark corner of the Square demanding her money back immediately.
He screamed in agony as she walked towards him: “You could have killed me, you’ve hurt my leg,” he cried but she didn’t care.
“Two hundred by the end of play and you bring it to me,” she said.
But she took a lit cigarette and began to press it against him before throwing the ash in his terrified face.
She warned him: “Because if I have to come looking for you…”
