Man Utd line-up for PSG as Martial gives Solskjaer a Champions League dilemmaFebruary 11, 2019
The Frenchman managed 70 minutes against Fulham – scoring a brilliant solo goal to mark his return to form.
And Solskjaer is likely to unleash him against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League last-16 tomorrow night.
Manchester United are close to being fully fit, with Antonio Valencia and Matteo Darmian the only absentees.
Jesse Lingard was an unused sub against Fulham and could slot in on the opposite flank to Martial, with red-hot Marcus Rashford all-but certain to start up top.
Paul Pogba will play in midfield if fit, with Nemanja Matic and Ander Herrera likely to provide support.
The absence of Darmian and Valencia means Ashley Young is expected to continue at right-back, with Luke Shaw on the other flank.
David De Gea will start, of course, but there is competition at centre-back, where Phil Jones could partner Victor Lindelof.
Speaking to MUTV ahead of the game, Solskjaer said: “We’re missing Antonio [Valencia] and Matteo [Darmian] – they’re the two that are not available.
“It’s a big, strong and healthy squad which is always [good] when the big games come up – many to pick from.”
PSG are already without Neymar and Edinson Cavani is losing his fitness battle in a huge boost to United’s chances.
