Fans in hysterics as Peter Crouch’s new Burnley tracksuit is far too SMALL for himFebruary 3, 2019
PETER CROUCH’s Premier League return was met with much fanfare and now the fans have something else to talk about concerning the former England striker.
The lanky striker last played in England’s top flight for Stoke last season but has now made his return with a shocking move to Turf Moor on deadline day.
Crouch made his debut for his new club by coming off the bench in yesterday’s 1-1 draw with Southampton.
Before the match however, journalist Jonny Dillon released these snaps of Peter Crouch making his way into the ground.
Clearly Crouch’s tracksuit was too small for him as he greeted his new fans on the way into the stadium.
It appears that Burnley kit manufacturers along with many others were not ready for the late arrival of the 38-year-old to Lancashire.
Upon signing on the dotted line, Clarets fans were quick to welcome their new signing to the club.
The sign on the bridge hilariously making fun of Crouch’s height prompted a witty response from the man himself on twitter.
He said “Everyone is so friendly in burnley. Very thoughtful.”
Manager Sean Dyche’s Burnley side are languishing in 17th place in the league, just two points above the relegation zone.
He will be hoping Crouch’s aerial threat and experience can help to propel his team to safety come the end of the season.
