SIR David Attenborough will lend his voice to yet another awe-inspiring documentary series.

Here’s everything you need to know about the Netflix project from its release date to filming locations.

When is David Attenborough’s Our Planet out on Netflix?

The streaming platform is hoping to release the inspiring docu-series on April 5, 2019.

The series will take viewers on a journey through some of the world’s jaw-dropping and invaluable natural habitats.

It will consist of eight parts and be narrated by the nature legend himself, Sir David Attenborough.

Talking at the World Wildlife Fund’s State of the Planet Adress event in London, Attenborough said: “Our planet will take viewers on a spectacular journey of discovery showcasing the beauty and fragility of our natural world.”

He added: “Today we have become the greatest threat to the health of our home but there’s still time for us to address the challenges we’ve created if we act now.

“We need the world to pay attention. Our Planet brings together some of the world’s best filmmakers and conservationists and I’m delighted to help bring this important story to millions of people worldwide.”

The 92-year-old broadcaster and naturalist is known for his comprehensive documentaries investigating the environment, animals and plants.

What countries does he visit?

The ambitious project was filmed in fifty countries over four years.

The filing location varied from the white cold Arctic to the green lush South African jungles.

Our Planet was produced in collaboration with Silverback Films whose director Alastair Fothergill created The Blue Planet and Planet Earth for the BBC.
